It's summer and the mani/pedi season has begun. No matter the time of the year, I usually paint both my nails and toenails with my staple dark polish, Essie's Wicked.
But I've begun to branch out into lighter and brighter colors for the season and here are my current faves. I just tried Essie's popular "Ballet Slippers" last week and absolutely loved it! I can understand why women love the pale-pink color-- it goes with everything.
My other favorite color for the season is OPI's "OPI Red." Red is of course a classic nail color and this version is the perfect red that will look great with your summer sandals.
Yesterday i was tempted to purchase some new Essie hot yellow and pink colors, but stopped myself. I don't know the rules on hot yellow nail polish and don't want to look trashy!
